We are excited to announce that effective September 1, 2019, NW Calgary Law and Compass Law have merged to form NAVIGATOR LAW LLP – your legal guides through all the seasons of your life. We will continue to operate in the same location, where we have been serving Varsity and NW Calgary for over 20 years. Arthur Olson has a passion for tax matters. He received a Master of Arts in Economics from the University of Calgary in 2003 and worked in Ottawa, with the Department of Finance. There, he was a tax policy officer, working on the federal budget. He continues to read every page of the budget to help advise clients on their tax issues. Arthur was called to the Alberta bar in 2011, and his practice focuses on tax planning, business law, wills and estates. He received his Juris Doctor (with Distinction) from the University of Saskatchewan in 2010. He is currently a member of the Canadian Tax Federation and the Calgary Bar Association. As well, Arthur has taught courses in Economics at the University of Calgary, University of Saskatchewan and University of Manitoba.

Peter G. Robinson is a seasoned lawyer serving NW Calgary. Over his 20+ year career, Peter has distinguished himself in the fields of Residential Real Estate, Wills & Estate Planning, and Estate Applications for Probate/Administration. His undergraduate degree in Political Science (Hon.) was awarded by the University of Western Ontario in 1989, and he graduated from the University Of British Columbia Allard School of Law in 1992. After articling in Vancouver and being admitted to the BC Bar in 1994, Peter commenced his legal career at a law firm in Penticton where the small-town environment proved to be an excellent training ground. Returning home to Calgary in 1998 Peter was admitted to the Alberta Bar, and established a growing legal practice in NW Calgary. In the community, Peter volunteers his time in music and the arts, with Sled Island and CJSW, and he is the host of Fossil Records every Saturday night at 7 pm on CJSW 90.9 FM.
